A Review: 5 Tasty Flamingo Theater Bar Drinks

This year I gave up drinking for the rest of 2016. Looking through my phone, I found these photo’s and my eyes began watering up. So many good times, and I don’t remember any of it. Someone should look into the science of live events and cocktail pairings. On this night, I decided to write a review on my final moments of drinking in 2015. I don’t recall much, but I wrote a few notes on a soggy cocktail napkin. Here are some recommended Flamingo Theater Bar Drinks.

Flamingo Theater Bar Drinks

1. Venezuelan Libre

Santa Teresa Anejo Rum
Coke
Lime
Angostura Bitters

This was the opener for that night, settling me in for the show.  A distinct spice blended in with the Angostura Bitters. Take a whiff of the rum before tossing it back. Good all around drink to have mingling before the show.

2. Papa Double, Hemingway Cocktail

Santa Teresa Anejo Rum
Lime
Cranberry Juice
Marasquino Liquor

Apparently there are various forms of this drink, and glad to have tasted this one. Rum blended with citrusy tones and a tangy scent with the Marasquino on top. Seemed like it would be good to have for breakfast too.

3. Venezuelan Libre (intermission)

I got another one. See above.

4. Fashion Sunrise

Fashion Vodka
Orange Juice
Cranberry Juice
Grenadine Garnish

Surprisingly Smooth. Minus the tequila, and toss in some vodka instead. Great blends of fruit and liquor. The texture sneaks in the Vodka, making the buzz slowly rise on you like the Sunrise itself.

5. Pain Killer

Aged Dark Rum
Creme de Coconut
Pineapple Juice
Orange Juice
Nutmeg

My favorite of that evening. Tropical taste, smells great, and the nutmeg numbs the tongue adding to the enjoyment.

Gave farewell to my final night of drinking and we took an Uber home that night, Drink Responsibly, Miami.
