The Have Nots also releases media via Comedy Time on Youtube to push forward the talent on the internet to be seen in a more National platform.

For years, the Just the Funny theater has made it very clear that improv comedy is alive and well in Miami. The theater features very talented improvisers and hosts many annual improv festivals. On top of it all, they offer classes for the individual to build its understanding in the skills of improvisation. (Which is a skill that goes beyond the stage!). These classes is what allows the theater to always be full of performers sharing the fun occurring on all its showcases.

Just the Funny Theater houses two stages: The Main Stage and The Spotlight Stage.

The Main Stage is where you will see a variety of shows based on Improv; musicals, long form, and sketches. The Spotlight is more for the nightcrawlers of Miami who are looking for a more party feel to live improvisation and stand up comedy sometimes too!

The Villain Theater is hard at work in being the next staple for live entertainment. With various improvisors assisting in building its brand of long form Chicago-style improvisations.

The Theater has also brought in (amazingly) the likes of improvers such as TJ Jagodowski, Dave Pasquesi, and Jimmy Carrane. 

The Villain Theater has a bright future ahead and already it has made its mark in the city of Miami. It is currently undergoing a big move to its new venue space in Little Haiti to venture in becoming the next great comedy space in Miami.

This comedy club is a once a month gem hidden in the back of Toms NFL sports bar.

Show producer Gordon Meyers is a fan of comedy with a good ear to the ground on who should perform at the Backroom Comedy Club.

With a huge support of local audience members, you get to see what its like for a comic to spruce up his act while visiting Miami.

Also, Toms NFL is an awesome sports bar by the way. The food is great and the collection of beers it offers is awesome too. Always a great time during these shows, and a very supportive room to the Miami comedy scene and fans alike.

The reason why Speak! is on the list is because there has been MANY occasions where big comedy names have stopped by to entertain the strong following that is always present and supportive to the performers.

On top of it all, even Kevin Hart has stopped by to produce a pilot to a television comedy series where they showcase hard working comedians for a chance to stardom on national tv.

Speak! Fridays will also be going down in history as the go to place for live entertainment of all sorts including its support for live comedy! Robert Lee is pretty funny too y’all!

This is the place in Wynwood for comedy.

Gramps also has an ongoing monthly comedy show where it showcases the local comedy scene for its late night crowds during the midweek.
