Today we finally break down what is a better holiday drink: Coquito vs Eggnog.
Many will say they're similar - but its not!
Sure there's lots of cream and sugar for each.
But did you know coquito isn't coquito without the RUM!
Eggnog can be eggnog without the alcohol.
But a Puerto Rican will throw their drink back at you if they realized its not spiked with rum.
Another reason why coquito wins this battle is because you can't buy coquito - it needs to be MADE for you.
And for some reason its always someone from the office.
Because it's excusable to get drunk on the job if someone brings coquito. It's an appropriate way to get inebriated during the holidays.
You can buy a whole eggnog can from a Costco that will last you past the holidays themselves, but coquito comes in home made mason jars and bottles.
