As some of you may already know, Providores and Publicans is our new comedy event and hang out spot on Wednesdays. All of our comedians are special guest appearances, but last night was definitely a MAJOR highlights to the line up. Especially for those that know the self-made names of South Florida comedians Erik Meyers and Cisco Duran.
Just a quick rundown for those new to the Miami Comedy Scene, the ongoing story of talent goes like this: you get good in Miami then you move on to bigger entertainment industry cities like LA or NY. Here, Erik Meyers and Cisco Duran is one of those cases.
Cisco Duran is known for touring all across the nation with comedian Carlos Mencia, has made appearances on AXS TV and Kevin Harts "Hart of the City" Television series on Comedy Central.
Erik Meyers has a special titled Dopeless Romantic, which you can see on Hulu, an animated web series Court Ordered and has won the Title of Florida's Funniest Comedian!
So just with some of that info, this night was full of talent.
These guys packed a tremendous appearance to our show that delighted attendees and local comics. It was great to have them come on last minute! And what a surprise it was!
