Happy 4th of July from Miami Comedy!
Funny enough, Miami Comedy has its own independence story.
There was a time when there were barely any comedy shows around here.
Since then, we've built a comedy scene from scratch.
In a city full of influencers selling OF links, balcony business courses, and luxury lifestyle content, we've somehow convinced people that a person with funny things to say into a microphone is worth leaving the house for.
Over the years, I've watched comedians come and go, venues open and close, and regular attendees move away. But what remains is a strong comedy community made up of self-made comedians and people who simply enjoy a good laugh.
Miami is still one of the youngest comedy scenes around, and that's what makes it exciting. We're new here, but we're making a name for ourselves.
The people of Miami could be doing anything this weekend. They could be on a yacht, popping champagne in a section, or perreando somewhere. Instead, thousands of you choose to come laugh with us, have a drink, pregame your night, and meet people with a good sense of humor.
